Resumo

Neste trabalho são estudadas as interações sociais na Internet, a partir das respostas de um questionário online. São analisadas as características sociodemográficas, os hábitos e as relações destes usuários na Rede. A internet mostra-se como um espaço de interação social, no qual as relações pessoais ocorreram com a grande maioria dos usuários. Essas relações se mostram, em alguns aspectos, de forma diferente das que são realizadas cara a cara. Além disso, as motivações e as consequências de se manter relações pessoais refletem resultados diferentes com relação ao sexo e ao estado civil dos internautas.
