Resumo

A tecnologia surgiu para revolucionar em todos os sentidos a vida do ser humano, e o âmbito educativo não foi uma exceção. A presente pesquisa propõe o uso da aprendizagem móvel (m-learning) como uma ferramenta de desenvolvimento de habilidades de debate em fóruns de discussão. A pesquisa foi realizada em salas de aula da Universidad Virtual del Tecnológico de Monterrey com 80 alunos de formação profissional que tinham entre 20 e 22 anos. Foram gerados podcasts com as leituras utilizadas para fazer contribuições aos fóruns. O “grupo controle” deu prosseguimento à atividade normalmente, enquanto que o “grupo experimental” utilizou os podcasts. Os resultados obtidos demonstram que a aprendizagem móvel não produz mudanças significativas nas notas dos alunos, entretanto, pode ser uma ferramenta alternativa para o desenvolvimento profissional dos alunos com relação ao desenvolvimento da análise crítica.
