摘要

本文講述一個關於青少年電視劇的研究的主要發現。研究關注的電視劇主要講述年輕人的故事,專門針對年輕觀眾。分析這些針對年輕人而製作的電視劇中刻畫的年輕人形象,不僅僅對電視劇的製作也對年輕觀眾對資訊的接收具有深刻的意義。事實上,青春劇的潛在觀眾——那些青少年——正處於建構自我身份的重要時期。首先,本文呈現的是有關電視劇中青少年形象的背景文獻回顧。其次,本文討論了青少年電視劇的概念,及討論他們與年輕人消費行為的關係。最後,本文介紹了一個案例研究,此研究用內容分析的方法分析研究了北美青少年電視劇《DAWSON’S CREEK》的具有代表性的三季,主要關注兩組變數:人物的性格的變數和情節、故事特點的變數。本文主要討論第二組變數,關注劇情的主要角色在衝突中的演變和衝突的解決。認同自我身份,愛情和友誼是最經常出現的主題。此外,在劇情發展中,角色間的社會關係也是我們關注的重點。
