关于社交媒体推广民主实践和公民行动的潜力,相关辩论已有甚多。然而,年轻人对社交网络的参与貌似走向了一个更为嬉戏玩闹而不是意识形态化的方向。本文讨论了年轻人在观看《V字仇杀队》和《饥饿游戏》这两部电影时在推特上的活动。由于这两部电影都涉及社会和政治问题,我们试图以此来分辨年轻人在观影时所发的推文是否会提及意识形态问题、是否会连带反映目前的社会现状。基于此目的,我们收集了1400条在西班牙电视台2014年播放以上电影时被发出的推文,并按照“编码和计数”这一计算机中介传播研究中的典型方法对这些消息进行了解码分析。按照内容,我们对这些消息进行了分类。所得结果显示,有关电影的社会和政治内容的消息几乎不存在,年轻人更倾向于对电影或个人生活的其他方面进行评论。这些结论显示出对于流行文化的再思考的重要性,基于流行文化在社会和政治上的意义。 而且本研究也显示出促进批判性媒介教育的重要性。
