摘要
对技术的使用正在改变完成事情的方式，这包括大学里教与学的过程的改变，我们要求大家弄懂有关学生成绩的技术的影响情况。在本研究中，我们陈述了因特网对于厄瓜多尔五所大学学生学术上的成功起的作用。我们启用了4,697个随机人群样本并分为两类：在学术活动中使用因特网和在娱乐中使用因特网，并采用了因子分析和聚类分析的办法；在寻求确定因特网对学术成功是否有所影响的多项式逻辑回归模型中，结果性分类的方法被用作独立变量。结果显示，与同僚和老师进行互动或者平衡应用不同因特网工具的人，倾向于比仅限于查找信息的人更会取得学术成功。在使用因特网来娱乐方面我们发现对于下载音乐、视频和软件的学生的学术成就有正面影响；同时，广涉各种因特网娱乐的学生比极少使用因特网的学生更不容易在学习中失败。性别不同，娱乐和学习目的的影响也不同。
