Resumo

O objetivo deste estudo foi compreender os componentes associados aos diferentes tipos de perfeccionismo descritos como: adaptativo/saudável, mal-adaptativo/nocivo ou não perfeccionismo, que podem ter efeitos positivos ou negativos para obtenção da excelência. Exploraram-se o número e o conteúdo das estruturas latentes do perfeccionismo como constructo multidimensional em uma amostra de n=137 estudantes com Altas Habilidades Intelectuais/Superdotados (AH/SD), com idade média de 13,77 anos (DT=1,99). A conexão com o perfeccionismo positivo e negativo foi analisada com base nos diferentes perfis de perfeccionismo. Foram utilizadas as escalas «Almost Perfect Scale Revised» (APS-R) e a «Positive and Negative Perfectionism Scale-12». Os resultados mostraram três classes latentes de perfeccionismo: «Não Saudável» (CL1), «Saudável» (CL2) e «Não Perfeccionista» (CL3). A CL1 apresentou maiores pontuações nas subescalas de Discrepância e menores em Ordem e Altos Padrões. A CL2 revelou pontuações maiores em Altos Padrões e Ordem. A CL3 apresentou menores pontuações em todos os domínios de perfeccionismo. As diferenças foram estatisticamente significativas entre as classes latentes nos domínios do perfeccionismo. Da mesma forma, encontraram-se diferentes padrões de associações de classes latentes com perfeccionismo Positivo e Negativo. Os resultados obtidos permitem observar as estruturas latentes de perfeccionismo em estudantes com AH/SD, que possibilitam delimitar, analisar e entender possíveis perfis latentes.
