互联网在21世纪社会的广泛使用并非没有风险。本文研究了互联网使用问题与抑郁症之间的共病,以确定它们之间是否存在关系。为此,我们进行了整合分析,在13个调查中(n = 33,748)收集了19个样本,这些样本来自不同文化和大洲(欧洲,欧亚,美洲和亚洲)。从随机效应模型中获得的效应是显著的,肯定的和中等的(r = 0.3,p <0.000),确认了互联网的病理用途与抑郁症之间存在关系。另一方面,整合回归显示,9%(R2 = 0.09)的差异是由男性解释的,而年龄和文化不是重要变量。研究的可变性很高(I2 = 87.085%)。就像Egger回归检验所示 (p-value 1 tailed=0,25; p-value 2 tailed=0,50 y σ=1,57),这是异质性的结果,而不是发表偏差。研究提醒在中学教育阶段应开始干预这个问题,以使其不扩展到成人生活阶段。
