Resumo

A pesquisa sobre comportamentos de risco no ambiente virtual de crianças e jovens abre caminho com estudos sobre fatores que possam influenciar nesses fenômenos, dentre os quais se destacam os relacionados com a convivência escolar e familiar. Nesta última, é relevante o nível de confiança espontânea do filho em relação a seu progenitor no uso da Internet. O objetivo deste trabalho é comprovar o efeito da autorrevelação dos filhos na agressão em ambiente virtual, assim como o papel mediador do uso problemático da Internet e a ciberfofoca, e o papel moderador do sexo e da idade. Um total de 866 estudantes do ensino fundamental (53% meninas) de idade entre 10 e 13 anos (M=11, 21; DP=0,90) foram entrevistados mediante o uso de autorrelatos. O tratamento de dados seguiu um modelo de mediação serial moderada com o uso do “Process”. Os resultados evidenciaram os efeitos da autorrevelação dos filhos sobre a agressão no ambiente virtual, assim como a mediação do uso problemático da Internet e a ciberfofoca. Diferentemente do sexo, a idade moderou os efeitos do modelo de mediação. Os resultados revelam a necessidade de estabelecer um clima de confiança e comunicação no ambiente familiar para diminuir o envolvimento nos comportamentos de risco em ambientes virtuais, onde os menores se sintam compreendidos e apoiados pelos progenitores, facilitando a comunicação espontânea sobre o uso da Internet.
