Резюме

Дезинформация в социальных сетях - это проблема, с которой сталкивается наше общество. Опыт пользования не гарантирует успеха в выявлении ложной информации. Цель исследования - определить, влияет ли активная роль в социальных сетях на информационную грамотность. Был разработан и проведен опрос 756 молодых людей в возрасте от 16 до 26 лет с разным уровнем образования. Результаты показывают профиль пользователей-"создателей", которые участвуют в разработке собственного контента и открыто делятся своими рекомендациями, в отличие от других, "зрителей", которые сосредоточены на развлечении и взаимодействии. Профиль создателя - это переменная, которая вносит наибольший вклад в разоблачение фальшивых новостей в социальных сетях. При сопоставлении информации уровень образования является наиболее значимым аспектом, хотя академические результаты и пользователи-создатели также вносят значительный вклад. Большее доверие к источникам, представленным в социальных сетях, отличает активный профиль, в то время как недоверие ассоциируется со зрителями. Медиаобразование рекомендует действия, направленные на восстановление доверия к социальным медиа, чтобы их можно было использовать критически, отдавая предпочтение активному, а не реактивному их использованию.
