Резюме

Данное исследование представляет обновленную рентгенограмму того, как учащиеся обязательного среднего образования (ESO) в государственных школах Испании в возрасте от 11 до 16 лет относятся к СМИ, как они информируют себя, какова степень их журналистской избирательности и как они относятся к новостям в период инфодемики и дезинформации. Кроме того, изучается мнение их учителей о дефиците средств массовой информации, который они ощущают у своих учеников. Основным методом исследования, использованным в данном исследовании, был описательный, перекрестный опрос 1 651 студента ESO со всей Испании с уровнем достоверности <95% и ошибкой выборки ±3%. Для того чтобы глубже изучить некоторые из основных аспектов, отмеченных студентами, было проведено 77 углубленных интервью с преподавателями со всей Испании. Основные результаты показывают, что учащиеся средней школы в основном получают информацию через социальные сети, телевидение и группы своих родственников или друзей; что им трудно отличить информацию от мнения; и что, хотя они считают себя способными отличать правду от фейка, более половины из них не могут отличить фейковые новости от настоящих. По словам учителей некоторых из этих школ, среди учащихся наблюдается некритичное потребление медиа, которому способствует навязчивое потребление аудиовизуальных и цифровых медиа.
