Comunicar bases its process and its quality on a wide international scientific community that endorses and supports it with a large group of researchers, academics from the world of communication and education, which guarantees the support to its work in favour of innovation and scientific progress in the field of Educommunication. Our organization is composed of a Board of Editors, which includes the Chief Editor, Assistant Editors, Thematic Editors and International Co-Editors; as well as an extensive Scientific Committee, International Board of Reviewers, and finally our Technical Board.

Dr. Genaro ZAVALA

Genaro Zavala is the Interim Director of the Research Lab at the Institute for the Future of Education and a Full professor at the School of Engineering and Sciences at Tecnologico de Monterrey. He leads the Socially Oriented Interdisciplinary STEAM Education Research Group and the Engaging and Motivating Learning Models Unit. He collaborates with the School of Engineering of the Universidad Andrés Bello in Santiago, Chile. He has a Ph.D. and an MSc in Solid State Science and Technology from Syracuse University. His research lines are interdisciplinary STEM education, social-oriented education, conceptual understanding, active learning, assessment tools, and faculty development. Genaro is internationally recognized for its scientific products and service to the community in several United States and European associations.

Dr. Sakir Cinkir

Serves as a faculty member in the Department of Educational Management and Policy at Ankara University's Faculty of Educational Sciences. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Eurasian Journal of Educational Research (EJER). Dr. Çinkir obtained his Ph.D. in Education from the University of Leeds, UK, in 2001. His academic expertise spans several areas, notably Educational Management, Management Theories, School Management, Human Resource Management, and Research Methodology, which he teaches at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Among his significant lines of research are educational leadership, school inspection, bullying in educational settings, and school self-evaluation. Dr. Çinkir has made substantial contributions to his field through numerous publications in both national and international journals focused on educational sciences.

Dr. Nohemi Lugo Rodríguez

PhD in Communication from Pompeu Fabra University (Spain), a Master’s Degree in Literature from Western Michigan University (USA), and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences from Tecnologico de Monterrey (Mexico). She is a Research Associate Professor at the Department of Media and Digital Culture at Tecnologico de Monterrey, Querétaro Campus. She is an expert in transmedia learning and has published over 20 academic publications, including three books at the intersection of narrative, learning, and digital culture. She belongs to the Mexican Association of Researchers in Communication and, to Alfamed, Media Literacy Network, Mexico Chapter. Nohemí possesses two decades of experience in education, encompassing roles such as academic leadership, consulting, educational technology entrepreneurship, and teaching. She has international teaching experience in Spanish as a foreign language at the Graduate School of International Relations and Pacific Studies, University of California San Diego, and fifteen years of teaching experience in digital and interactive projects with the bachelor’s degrees in Communication and Digital Art, as well as in the master's degrees in Educational Technology and, Digital Humanities, from Tecnologico de Monterrey.

Professor María Soledad Ramírez-Montoya María Soledad Ramírez-Montoya is a research professor at the Institute for the Future of Education, Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico). She coordinates the Interdisciplinary Research Group Scaling Reasoning for Complexity for all, and the Educational Technology Research Unit. She designs training systems supported by Open Science and Technology 4.0 strategies, linked to projects that apply the quadruple helix (university-industry-government-civil sector) and solutions for sustainable development. As Coordinator of the UNESCO and ICDE Chairs: "Open Education Movement for Latin America", she mobilises, through networks, training, production and research initiatives for open education. In her academic activities, Dr. Ramírez-Montoya trains talent for education with an emphasis on innovation and educational entrepreneurship.

Dr. Anne Pomerantz

Profesora de la Graduate School of Education de la Universidad de Pensilvania. Investiga el lenguaje y la educación en contextos multilingües e interculturales, combinando métodos y perspectivas desde la antropología educativa, la antropología lingüística y la sociolingüística. Es internacionalmente conocida por sus trabajos sobre cómo las ideas sobre el lenguaje, el uso del lenguaje y el aprendizaje de idiomas dan forma a lo que sucede en las aulas, particularmente en contextos lingüísticamente diversos. También utiliza ideas y herramientas de la etnografía lingüística para examinar el humor y otras formas de conversación lúdica en espacios educativos multilingües. Ha dirigido, también, iniciativas locales con las que está muy comprometida centradas en la participación de familias, la enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras, la educación artística y la equidad educativa.

Dr. Alejandro Rodríguez-Martín

Profesor Titular del área de Didáctica y Organización Escolar de la Universidad de Oviedo. Maestro de Educación Especial y Doctor por la Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (España). Es miembro del Grupo de investigación sobre innovación educativa con TIC en los entornos virtuales de enseñanzas de aprendizaje (IETIC-EVEA; https://ieticevea.grupos.uniovi.es/). Ha recibido diversos premios por sus publicaciones en EEUU y sus líneas de investigación son Educación Inclusiva; Ecosistemas de formación emprendedores y mentoría digital; y envejecimiento activo e inclusión digital. Es miembro de la Sociedad Española de Pedagogía, de la Red de Universidades y Educación Inclusiva y, actualmente, Director del Departamento de Ciencias de la Educación de su universidad.

Profesora Titular en el Departament de Didàctica de la Llengua i la Literatura de la Universitat de València y miembro de la Junta Directiva de la Sociedad Española de Didáctica de la Lengua y la Literatura (SEDLL). Entre sus líneas de investigación destacan la educación literaria en contextos multiculturales y plurilingües, la formación de lectores, las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación en el desarrollo de la competencia lecto-literaria, la literatura infantil y juvenil, el álbum ilustrado y el cómic. Codirectora del Máster Cómic y Educación Lectora de la Universitat de València y miembro de la Cátedra de Estudios del Cómic fundación SMUniversitat de València. Galardonada con el premio de investigación de la Fundación para el Fomento del Libro y la Lectura (2021) al mejor artículo de investigación publicado en revista de impacto sobre lectura.
