数字化发展导致虚假新闻和错误信息的数量和速度不断增加。本文我们将个人对错误信息和虚假新闻的积极回应能力。作者基于Archer反身性的理论框架及其模式 ,认为一种特定的反身模式,即元反身,可以使自己与媒体的信息保持恰好的距离。其中包括反身性测量工具(RMT)以定量得分的形式对反身性进行近似评估。研究在斯洛文尼亚进行了一个具有代表性的国家样本的调查,通过轨迹分析确定了其人口统计学特征,媒体曝光,反身性和事实核对之间的关系。结果显示,就个人接触特定类型的媒体而言,年龄和教育程度会影响其媒体偏好。年轻人,妇女和受过高等教育的人更具元反身性,这有助于他们积极应对错误信息。最后的结论得出,元反身性是必要的,但不足以产生个人对媒体信息的积极反应。因此需要对媒体的事实和教育进行专业核查的机构 。
