Резюме
В данной статье представлены результаты исследования, в котором анализируется способность детей определять рекламные сообщения, которые они получают через наиболее популярные социальные сети среди данной аудитории (YouTube и Instagram). Способность детей распознавать скрытые намерения измерялась в ряде примеров, взятых для данного исследования. Кроме того, было проанализировано восприятие того, что их родители или ответственные взрослые заявили об этой способности детей. Результаты обследования, проведенного в 501 домохозяйстве в столичном округе Сантьяго-де-Чили, касались как детей в возрасте от 10 до 14 лет, так и одного из их родителей или ответственного взрослого. Среди основных результатов стоит отметить, что в предложенных примерах большинство опрошенных (более 50%) не смогли обнаружить рекламу в контенте, который ее включал. Процент признания был еще ниже в тех случаях, когда в них смешивались скрытый контент и развлекательные материалы и которые не классифицировались как реклама. С другой стороны, родители воспринимали, что их дети в меньшей степени, чем они сами, признают скрытый убедительный контент. Ясные и понятные рекламные сообщения, а также грамотность в области рекламы в соответствии с возрастом детей могли бы помочь им различать контент, который они потребляют в социальных сетях.
