本篇文章分析了近50年以来新闻职业在拉丁美洲的构成。研究工作基于地区性的社会框架的发展的影响,就是说现实的媒体新闻的结构,其中包括个人,组织和社会。拉美新闻业区别于世界其他国家新闻业的主要原因是,个人定位培训的问题,学校教师的师资素质,特殊的政治经济环境以及来自欧洲和美国的巨大影响。但是试图制定一个不存在概念化和操作化的次大陆教师体系。
