Resumo

Este artigo analisa a figura do prosumer do «infoentretenimento» político na Internet. Se durante a segunda metade do século XX predomina a «telecracia», um modelo de comunicação unidirecional que sugere a popularização da política mas também sua conversão em espetáculo ou «politainment», o século XXI inicia-se com o convencimento de que a Internet conduzirá a um modelo comunicacional bidirecional no qual se estabelece um diálogo real entre o poder político e a cidadania. Esta pesquisa explora um novo campo de estudo, como é o «politainment» na Web 2.0 e a atuação do prosumer nesta nova esfera comunicativa. O interesse deste estudo é detectar quais conteúdos políticos os usuários consomem e produzem na rede. Para isto, realizou-se um estudo de caso sobre a informação política produzida e consumida no Youtube sobre o comparecimento da prefeita de Madri, Ana Botella, perante o comitê Olímpico Internacional (COI) em setembro de 2013. Analisaram-se os 40 vídeos mais vistos no Youtube na semana de seu aparecimento e um mês depois, assim como 3.000 comentários sobre estes vídeos. As conclusões mostram que o prosumer do «politainment» na Internet caracteriza-se por um consumo massivo de informação, porém um comportamento muito passivo em sua produção e participação.
