Resumo

Oferecer aos estudantes conhecimentos sobre as organizações de segurança é um meio de reduzir a insegurança gerada pela divulgação dos atentados terroristas nos meios de comunicação e nas redes sociais. Embora haja uma maior tradição em projetos para educar os estudantes sobre a polícia e os militares, não foram encontrados projetos análogos sobre os serviços de inteligência. Com o objetivo de suprir essa carência, os autores desenharam e produziram dois vídeos animados educativos, destinados aos estudantes espanhóis, sobre o serviço de inteligência espanhol, o Centro Nacional de Inteligência (CNI). Este artigo mede qual é o impacto dos vídeos no conhecimento, nos estereótipos e nas atitudes dos alunos em relação ao CNI. Para isso, foram aplicados dois questionários a 1.092 estudantes com idades entre 8 e 16 anos, antes e depois da visualização dos vídeos. Os resultados prévios à visualização mostraram um conhecimento nulo, alto grau de estereótipos e atitudes moderadamente negativas diante dos serviços de inteligência. As respostas foram comprovadas mediante a aplicação de testes t para amostras pareadas, a partir das quais se observou que os vídeos modificavam o conhecimento, os estereótipos e as atitudes em relação ao CNI. Especialmente, após a visualização, observou-se que os vídeos melhoram o conhecimento dos estudantes, diminuiu o grau de estereótipos e aumentaram as atitudes positivas.
