Resumo

No âmbito da investigação, os métodos mistos combinam dados quantitativos e qualitativos para uma aproximação à “realidade”. Na literatura recente sobre estudos sociais e educacionais, há um crescimento de publicações que integram tecnologias digitais e métodos mistos e, com isso, apresenta-se a oportunidade de analisar as contribuições originais no campo da inovação educativa. O objetivo deste artigo foi analisar as características desses estudos e as tendências de novas contribuições para a educação. Para isso foi realizada uma revisão sistemática de literatura (SLR) de 311 artigos publicados, de janeiro de 2010 a janeiro de 2020, nas bases de dados Web of Science (WoS) e Scopus. Trabalhou-se com nove perguntas que exploraram três temas: características, tecnologias e projetos no âmbito da inovação educacional. A validação se deu com os critérios da Universidade de York: inclusão e exclusão, relevância e descrição de dados, assim como revisão por pares na análise. As descobertas dão conta de redes de co-termos, identificação de inovações educacionais e tipos de projetos que estão sendo trabalhados nas linhas de pesquisas em inovação educacional. Conclui-se que a abordagem de métodos mistos contribui com uma combinação de estratégias e processos para lidar com a complexidade do fenômeno da educação, com compreensão holística, interdisciplinar e mudança na forma de fazer pesquisa em nossos dias.
