Abstract

«Finding Nemo» has been a big success since its premiere in Spain. This film is almost a mass media event. The plot of «Finding Nemo» is about a father-son underwater adventure featuring Nemo, a boy clownfish stolen from his coral reef home. His timid father must then search the ocean with a special friend to find him. This paper analyzes some special scenes to focus on reflections about standard families, attitudes to difference, values and stereotypes which are very interesting from an educational point of view.
