Abstract

Considering that television continues to be the elected medium by children, we decided to present the information done for children in the Portuguese public tv channel. That requires an analysis not only to the information produced, but also the kind of language used and the thematic trends. A special attention will be paid to the children’s participation in the making of news, as well as to the space that they have to express their thoughts in this program.
