摘要

大眾傳媒的廣泛使用已經被人當做獨特的、用來重新設計創新性學習環境的機會而被接受。這種學習環境將學生至於參與性的、多重文化素養性的、和同齡人學習的經驗的中心。本文針對新媒體的社會公用和相關的教育性實踐之間的聯繫提出問題,並提出更加苛刻的、能夠用來指導未來的研究活動、使其承擔教育領域大眾傳媒的角色的理論框架。本文對一小組學生的分析案例作出彙報。作為更大的碩士生進修過程的一部分,該組學生使用線上模組來研究媒體、文化和交流。學生們被要求以一種更加具有反射性的、更理論化的方式來思考,而不是通常那種對他們參與大眾傳媒的經歷的標準課程評估,在那裡,大眾傳媒同時作為媒介和課程的主題。本文討論了學生的體驗,這種體驗在專案工作被評估的一部分的環境中顯現出來。在探討研究發現的過程中,作者們在議論新媒體、教育學和大眾傳媒的語境下,找到了論據。同時還包括正在顯現的、作為理解數位化媒體中身份的產生和表達的隱喻性的框架的、自我管理的理論。
