Abstract
La inteligencia artificial (IA) está transformando radicalmente la educación superior, ofreciendo un potencial considerable para personalizar el aprendizaje, aunque también plantea desafíos éticos significativos como el sesgo algorítmico y la posible disminución del pensamiento crítico, este estudio contribuye al campo de la educación médica proporcionando evidencia empírica sobre cómo la formación precoz puede moldear las actitudes de los futuros profesionales hacia la inteligencia artificial (IA). Ante esta dualidad, resulta imperativo obtener datos sistemáticos sobre la percepción de los estudiantes sobre el diseño de intervenciones pedagógicas y políticas institucionales fundamentadas. Se eligió este tema ante la necesidad de preparar a los estudiantes para un entorno laboral cada vez más mediado por la tecnología, buscando reducir la ansiedad tecnológica, aumentar la autoeficacia y fomentar un uso ético y responsable de estas herramientas desde el inicio de la formación académica. El objetivo de esta investigación fue evaluar el impacto de una intervención pedagógica en la percepción de la IA de 90 estudiantes de primer año de Medicina, de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato. La investigación se desarrolló con estudiantes de Medicina, en Ecuador, integrando la IA en el aprendizaje de disciplinas como la embriología clínica. Se empleó un enfoque cuantitativo con diseño preexperimental de un solo grupo con pretest y postest. Se utilizó la escala validada PEIIA, la cual presenta una alta confiabilidad (?=0.945) para medir dimensiones como la efectividad de uso, mejoras de aprendizaje y reacciones emocionales. Fueron revelados cambios estadísticamente significativos (p < 0.05) en las dimensiones de utilidad percibida y facilidad de uso. Se observó una reducción de la ansiedad tecnológica al comprenderse que la IA puede alcanzar una precisión diagnóstica superior al 80% en áreas como la embriología clínica en comparación con la evaluación humana. La principal innovación del estudio reside en el empleo de un diseño preexperimental con pretest y postest, lo cual supera la limitación de los estudios transversales predominantes en la literatura actual al evaluar científicamente el impacto directo de una intervención pedagógica específica en la percepción estudiantil desde la visualización, la cual modificó positivamente las actitudes estudiantiles, fomentando una integración tecnológica que potencia las capacidades humanas, el uso ético de estas herramientas exige transparencia y que la responsabilidad última recaiga siempre en el operador humano.
