This paper analyses the results of a poll about the student's TV habits in the first cycle of CSE (Compulsory Secondary Education) of the IES Averroes in Córdoba. Moreover, the importance of analysing both factors (academic results-TV consumption) is highlighted in relation to other habits of use of the spare time that are not normally studied and that affect, in an important way, both to the academic performance, in general, and to the capacity of attention, wich in these ages, is directly involved in the academic success..
