Television and Information: analysis of television quality criteria in national channels news

Abstract

This essay develops a practical application of quality TV criteria to the study of national channels´ news bulletins. We have analysed them for a week in relation to quality criteria such as opinion diversity, technical accuracy, exposition clarity, distinction between information and promotion pieces or selection criteria. In conclusion, this study aims to make an analysis of the TV information we set from television and then compare it with quality TV criteria..
