Resumo

O sharenting está se tornando uma prática habitual que põe em risco a segurança e a privacidade das crianças. Esse fenômeno corresponde ao ato de familiares compartilharem imagens de menores de idade na Internet. Por sua vez, os níveis de adição à Internet, associados a um baixo autocontrole, são um problema atual na sociedade moderna. O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar o grau de publicação de imagens e os motivos para realizar o sharenting por parte da população adulta, determinar os fatores sociodemográficos que influenciam no sharenting, a adição em Internet e o autocontrole e estabelecer as correlações geradas entre essas três variáveis. Participaram da pesquisa online um total de 367 adultos espanhóis entre 18 e 61 anos (M=28,98; DP=10,47). As análises de regressão múltipla e a modelagem de equações estruturais revelaram que: 1) a idade se apresenta como um preditor do vício em Internet; 2) a idade, o gênero e a situação laboral são fatores preditivos de um baixo autocontrole; 3) não foram encontrados fatores sociodemográficos que fossem preditivos do sharenting; 4) a única correlação significativa se estabeleceu entre a adição em Internet e o autocontrole. Finalmente, são discutidas as implicações práticas deste trabalho sobre a proteção do menor de idade e a necessidade de formação dos adultos sobre segurança na Internet.
