Resumo

A qualidade dos recursos online disponíveis para os pais e que permitem o acesso ao conhecimento aberto tem recebido pouca atenção, apesar de seu crescimento. Este estudo analisa a qualidade tanto ética como de conteúdo de tais recursos. Os critérios éticos se baseiam nos princípios de «Saúde em Rede» (HON), enquanto os conteúdos se baseiam nos princípios da Parentalidade Positiva e da efetividade dos materiais de aprendizagem utilizados. Os critérios foram aplicados a uma amostra de sites internacionais (n=100) para pais e mães hispanofalantes. As análises de qui-quadrado mostraram que os sites espanhóis de empresas oficiais e informativos obtiveram uma nota mais alta nos critérios éticos que os recursos da América do Sul, de pais e interativos, em privacidade, autoridade, justificabilidade e informação financeira. A Análise Hierárquica de Cluster aplicada aos critérios de conteúdo mostrou que os sites de alta qualidade, ao contrário dos de baixa qualidade, valorizavam a igualdade de gênero, um papel parental positivo, modelavam uma variedade de práticas parentais, conteúdos educativos com formatos multimídia e proporcionavam experiências, informações acadêmicas e técnicas. A privacidade, a informação financeira e a justificabilidade eram mais característicos no cluster com conteúdos de alta e média qualidade. Finalmente, o estudo ilustra alguns dos desafios do conhecimento aberto e define as áreas prioritárias para a melhoria da qualidade direcionadas aos designers de sites e aos profissionais que queiram ajudar os pais a desenvolver habilidades para buscar fontes confiáveis.
