Резюме

This paper presents some changes occurring in Latin America related to the relationship between children and television channels and programs. There are new ways of television consumption by children at home, and new tendencies in the understanding of reception processes in children programming. Television production has had considerable change and this has produced important transformations in children’s representations inside the text. Mediation is required in order to take advantage of this programming.
