摘要

当媒体教育概念和实践在欧洲国家和美洲散播并加强,担负扩展责任的教育政策却鲜为人知,这在那些近来成就卓著的国家尤其如此。巴西就是如此,巴西一直都有媒体教育的新机会,被认为是帮助实现教育系统制定的目标的宝贵资源。本文考察在巴西教育部近期新发政策情况下媒体教育在强化教学中的贡献。教育改革计划为媒体教育这样的新兴领域带来了机会,之后我们为国立中学的师生制作教学材料,举办系列讲习班。通过阅读和制作青少年可接触到的有关地方公共服务机构的多媒体信息,小学生学会了民主、公民权、公民参与、媒体语言和身份。我们讨论了从实验中学到的教训,这映衬着实施教育政策以改善最近因经济危机而导致的严酷状况的社会背景。我们提出,通过创造一种学生们能逐渐意识到教育成就的价值的学习环境,媒体教育能够起到帮助作用。
