这篇文章中,我们对中国和澳大利亚青少年的数码生活提出了洞见,也产生出诸多疑问。这为我们带来了对中国都市青少年使用数码媒体的全国性研究调查结果与对澳大利亚的研究调查结果之间的对话。但我们并不进行直接对比,而是将其看作一个机会,为两国的儿童数码生活研究投进一线光芒,解释语境所产生的影响,因为这是两个社会文化环境相对而言不同的国家。本文概述了对中国六省1,171名学龄前儿童(3~7岁)的研究调查结果,包括他们观看电视的频率,早期教育数码设备,电脑,平板电脑和智能手机,音乐播放器,电子阅读器和游戏平台。研究还聚焦于他们不同的活动,比如观看卡通片,使用教育应用APP,玩游戏和参与视屏聊天。研究方法包括多阶段取样处理,对幼儿园进行随机选择,加权取样处理,生成描述性数据,使用线性回归分析,和卡方测试。研究证明了影响使用数码媒体的时间的因素的重要性。而与澳大利亚研究的对比则产生出新的深入理解,引发了新的研究问题。
