Resumo
A violência contra mulheres e meninas (VCMM) não é um fenômeno novo. A novidade é a questão dos perigos crescentes enfrentados por milhões de mulheres e meninas devido à disseminação das TICs e da mídia social. Os casos do VCMM em que as TIC e as redes sociais são utilizadas como plataformas são facilmente encontrados através da cobertura midiática. Este estudo tem como objetivo compreender e definir a tendência e o status do ciber-VCMM para aumentar a conscientização por meio da análise de sites de notícias online. Entre 2015 e 2020, os artigos foram coletados nos principais sites de notícias. O Modelo de Palavras-chave Temáticas foi utilizado para avaliar os artigos pré-processados (N = 3.506) por ano. Observou-se que a maioria dos artigos sobre o cyber-VCMM enfocou os tópicos de "Exploração sexual online e abuso sexual de crianças" e "Violações de privacidade relacionadas às TIC". A análise dos textos ajuda a transcender as limitações das metodologias qualitativas tradicionais. Compreender as preocupações do ciber-VCMM por meio da extração de artigos de notícias pode ajudar a criar iniciativas e políticas para lidar com esse problema. Propomos que a pesquisa seja conduzida usando análise de sentimento de dados de notícias para verificar e quantificar o impacto de questões relacionadas ao ciber-VCMM.
