Resumo

Tem sido crescente tanto o interesse quanto a prática de uma Ciência Cidadã (CS) que acompanha o uso de sites para comunicação, bem como para captura e processamento de dados e materiais. Do ponto de vista educacional, espera-se que, ao integrar informações sobre CS em um ambiente educacional formal, seja possível inspirer os professores para criar atividades de aprendizagem. Este é um caso interessante de uso de bots para automatizar o processo de extração de dados de plataformas online de CS para melhor entender seu uso em contextos educacionais. Embora essas informações estejam disponíveis publicamente, elas devem seguir as regras do GDPR. Este artigo tem como objetivo explicar (1) como o CS se comunica e é promovido em sites, (2) como os métodos de web scraping e técnicas de anonimização foram projetados, desenvolvidos e aplicados para coletar informações de fontes online e (3) como esses dados podem ser usados para fins educacionais. Após a análise de 72 sites, alguns dos resultados obtidos mostram que apenas 24,8% incluem informações detalhadas sobre o projeto de SC e 48,61% incluem informações sobre fins ou materiais educativos.
