Abstract

The work represents the methodological approach used for a research project conducted by the Center for Media Studies in the School of Communications (Santiago de Chile). The objective was to evaluate, through in-depth interviews, new types of relationships that exist between the audience and the media in a context which the author calls an existential crisis. The scope of the project is evidenced in some of the variables considered in the study.
