Abstract
Nowadays we consider as new technologies computer appliances (machines and programmes) to the different knowledge areas and the different human activities. From large scientific investigation programmes to videogames, our society has quickly changed with the introduction of computers in all fields. Music, as one more activity, has also been changed through computer appliances.
