Abstract

In this talk we will attempt to measure the quality of audio-visual contents broadcast in mainstream television. If we examine the regulations on the contents of television, the statutes of public television, higher level legislation and European guidelines, we will find articles that seem reasonable and are easily applicable in order that certain standards may be applied. However, in Spain, the quality of television broadcasting is generally of low quality.
