Abstract

The Law in Education, recently passed by the Spanish Parliament, provides a good opportunity to promote a critical view of audiovisual media and television among the Primary and Secondary Spanish students. That law introduces a new subject which is called “Education for the Citizenship». The official documents developing the contents of this subject provides the teachers the opportunity of getting the mentioned aim.
