Resumo

Hoje, mais do que nunca, promove-se o espaço público, especialmente online. Apesar disso, o papel da produção midiática pública na cultura juvenil não tem sido muito relevante no âmbito educacional. Esse trabalho facilita a compreensão das relações entre a participação cívica e a difusão midiática da juventude no contexto de suas intervenções e interações. Baseia-se no acompanhamento, por três anos, de “Voz da juventude”, da Finlândia, voltado para jovens entre 13 e 17 anos de idade. Os resultados dos estudos mostram que o estímulo da cidadania entre os jovens pode ser reforçada com a educação midiática, resultado de três elementos relacionados entre si: a participação cidadã da juventude (incluindo a produção midiática), a difusão midiática e a pedagogia entendida como aprendizagem colaborativa.
