Resumo
Neste trabalho são estudadas as atitudes e crenças que os professores de ensino médio têm sobre a utilização dos recursos da Internet em suas práticas. Apresentam-se os resultados obtidos aplicando um questionário (n=1.721) que engloba diversas dimensões, obtendo-se dados referentes às atitudes dos professores em relação ao uso ou não de recursos da Internet, às tarefas docentes para as quais são empregadas e à formação recebida para esse propósito. O estudo apresenta dados dos percentuais de respostas aos itens do questionário e índices de correlação. Entre os resultados destacam-se a relação entre as atitudes dos professores e a introdução dos recursos de internet em suas práticas, assim como a influência da idade e do sexo dos professores nestas atitudes. Também se destaca a relação entre a crença dos professores em sua competência digital e a probabilidade de que utilizem os recursos da Rede em suas práticas. Por último, os resultados destacam a relação que aparece entre a formação recebida sobre Internet e as diferenças na percepção sobre competência digital dos docentes. Os resultados assinalam a necessidade de estudar em profundidade quais são as crenças que explicam de forma específica a adoção ou não destes recursos digitais, como se conformam e que elementos as definem.
