Resumo

O cenário tecnológico com relação ao menor apresenta numerosos desafios que a indústria de telecomunicação enfrenta, juntamente com as famílias e o setor educacional. Contudo, há pouca bibliografia que aprofunde as políticas estratégicas que o setor vem implementando para atingir suas metas. Deste modo, este artigo tem dois objetivos: em primeiro lugar, realizar uma síntese do estado da questão para, em seguida, apresentar os principais achados sobre como as 17 principais empresas internacionais estão enfrentando este panorama em suas políticas comerciais e em suas relações com grupos de interesse. A metodologia aplicada é de caráter qualitativo, e analisa os informes de responsabilidade social e sites das companhias, com o objetivo de identificar as linhas estratégicas e ações empresariais, assim como as pessoas e instituições com quem colaboram. Os resultados mostram que, apesar de algumas diferenças entre regiões, os interesses do setor são: autorregulação, inovação nos produtos, ferramentas de proteção, bem como a manutenção de uma estreita rede de colaboradores com grupos de interesse, o que permite retroalimentar políticas e estratégias. Desta análise conclui-se que o setor necessita integrar as políticas de proteção ao menor não só ao desenvolvimento de produtos responsáveis, mas sim estreitando ainda mais os vínculos com os principais grupos de interesse, como pais e instituições.
