Resumo
A vulnerabilidade se traduz por grupos humanos concretos que, embora conheçam o que ocorre ao seu redor em termos de conteúdo digital, são marginalizados devido à sua condição social e cultural e, dessa forma, privados do direito à informação. O estudo teve como objetivo analisar a alfabetização crítica, midiática e digital voltadas ao empoderamento de grupos vulneráveis. A revisão sistemática da literatura (meta-síntese) incluiu o período compreendido entre os anos 1996-2016 e compreendeu 202 documentos, dos quais 117 atenderam aos critérios de inclusão (105 pesquisas documentais e 12 pesquisas qualitativas). Os resultados indicam que crianças, adolescentes e adultos se beneficiaram e se empoderaram dessa alfabetização mesmo com baixos níveis de educação, em situação de desvantagem econômica e com altos níveis de exclusão social ou cultural. Os espaços informais prevalecem nessa formação midiática, digital e conduzem à reflexão sobre a tão necessária alfabetização. Analisou-se também a influência do empoderamento na esfera social e pessoal, bem como as implicações educativas e comunicacionais para aqueles que possuem a responsabilidade de empoderar. Conclui-se que os grupos são vulneráveis apenas ao manter-se com baixos índices de formação e que alfabetizá-los significa tornar possível o empoderamento necessário ao exercício da cidadania.
