Resumo
O uso mediado da tecnologia estimula a aprendizagem desde a infância e representa um recurso potencial para a educação inclusiva. Ao mesmo tempo, a crescente exposição a conteúdos digitais interativos, frequentemente conectados à internet, implica uma série de riscos para as crianças. A definição de proteção subjacente às estratégias atuais para proteger as crianças é inadequada, pois se limitam a reduzir sua exposição a conteúdos prejudiciais. Este estudo propõe a expansão dessa definição. Esta pesquisa propõe ampliar esta definição. Através de uma observação sistemática de 200 apps para menores de oito anos no âmbito catalão e de uma análise de componentes principais, propõe-se uma definição multidimensional de proteção que não se limita a detalhar os potenciais riscos, mas que também considera aspectos relacionados com o potencial educativo e inclusivo dos recursos digitais. Sugere-se a consideração de cinco fatores a fim de selecionar esses recursos e contribuir para a competência digital de docentes e alunos. O primeiro fator refere-se ao uso de mecanismos de proteção e à existência de interferências externas; o segundo fator indica a presença de ferramentas de adaptação; a exposição a estereótipos corresponde ao terceiro fator e os últimos dois consideram os conhecimentos prévios requeridos e o componente verbal dos apps. Finalmente, discute-se o alcance da definição proposta e suas limitações para orientar futuras análises.
