Resumo
O transpodcast (transmedia podcasting) é um exemplo de meio digital desenvolvido por uma comunidade de criadores independentes que surge do avanço tecnológico derivado da Web 2.0. Este meio oferece aos seus usuários maiores possibilidades de co-criação e participação ao abandonar os modelos comunicativos unidirecionais baseados na lógica broadcast, próprios do século XX. O objetivo deste trabalho é determinar como se realizada a interação dos usuários nesse meio a partir das análises dos espaços de participação que o transpodcast apresenta. Para isso, foi empregada uma metodologia mista ((Mixed Method Research Design), que integra dois estudos de caso com uma mostra total de 2.490 unidades de participação geradas pelos usuários na plataforma iVoox, blogs dos dois projetos e mensagens no Twitter. A pesquisa foi complementada com um estudo etnográfico, executado através dos métodos observacionais sobre a presença do usuário nos programas em formato podcast de um total de 19 projetos transpodcast. Apesar de inúmeras e relevantes vozes defenderem que o novo ecossistema midiático causa a descentralização e a democratização da agenda-setting e empodere os cidadãos em termos comunicacionais, este estudo contribui com uma perspectiva menos otimista e mais crítica sobre as possibilidades reais e significativas de participação dos cidadãos no discurso online.
