Comunicar bases its process and its quality on a wide international scientific community that endorses and supports it with a large group of researchers, academics from the world of communication and education, which guarantees the support to its work in favour of innovation and scientific progress in the field of Educommunication. Our organization is composed of a Board of Editors, which includes the Chief Editor, Assistant Editors, Thematic Editors and International Co-Editors; as well as an extensive Scientific Committee, International Board of Reviewers, and finally our Technical Board.

Dr. Genaro ZAVALA

Genaro Zavala is the Interim Director of the Research Lab at the Institute for the Future of Education and a Full professor at the School of Engineering and Sciences at Tecnologico de Monterrey. He leads the Socially Oriented Interdisciplinary STEAM Education Research Group and the Engaging and Motivating Learning Models Unit. He collaborates with the School of Engineering of the Universidad Andrés Bello in Santiago, Chile. He has a Ph.D. and an MSc in Solid State Science and Technology from Syracuse University. His research lines are interdisciplinary STEM education, social-oriented education, conceptual understanding, active learning, assessment tools, and faculty development. Genaro is internationally recognized for its scientific products and service to the community in several United States and European associations.

Dr. Sakir Cinkir

Serves as a faculty member in the Department of Educational Management and Policy at Ankara University's Faculty of Educational Sciences. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Eurasian Journal of Educational Research (EJER). Dr. Çinkir obtained his Ph.D. in Education from the University of Leeds, UK, in 2001. His academic expertise spans several areas, notably Educational Management, Management Theories, School Management, Human Resource Management, and Research Methodology, which he teaches at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Among his significant lines of research are educational leadership, school inspection, bullying in educational settings, and school self-evaluation. Dr. Çinkir has made substantial contributions to his field through numerous publications in both national and international journals focused on educational sciences.

Dr. Nohemi Lugo Rodríguez

PhD in Communication from Pompeu Fabra University (Spain), a Master’s Degree in Literature from Western Michigan University (USA), and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences from Tecnologico de Monterrey (Mexico). She is a Research Associate Professor at the Department of Media and Digital Culture at Tecnologico de Monterrey, Querétaro Campus. She is an expert in transmedia learning and has published over 20 academic publications, including three books at the intersection of narrative, learning, and digital culture. She belongs to the Mexican Association of Researchers in Communication and, to Alfamed, Media Literacy Network, Mexico Chapter. Nohemí possesses two decades of experience in education, encompassing roles such as academic leadership, consulting, educational technology entrepreneurship, and teaching. She has international teaching experience in Spanish as a foreign language at the Graduate School of International Relations and Pacific Studies, University of California San Diego, and fifteen years of teaching experience in digital and interactive projects with the bachelor’s degrees in Communication and Digital Art, as well as in the master's degrees in Educational Technology and, Digital Humanities, from Tecnologico de Monterrey.

Professor María Soledad Ramírez-Montoya María Soledad Ramírez-Montoya is a research professor at the Institute for the Future of Education, Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico). She coordinates the Interdisciplinary Research Group Scaling Reasoning for Complexity for all, and the Educational Technology Research Unit. She designs training systems supported by Open Science and Technology 4.0 strategies, linked to projects that apply the quadruple helix (university-industry-government-civil sector) and solutions for sustainable development. As Coordinator of the UNESCO and ICDE Chairs: "Open Education Movement for Latin America", she mobilises, through networks, training, production and research initiatives for open education. In her academic activities, Dr. Ramírez-Montoya trains talent for education with an emphasis on innovation and educational entrepreneurship.

Catedrático de Comunicación Audiovisual y Publicidad en la Facultad de Ciencias de la Comunicación de la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela (USC). Su investigación se centra en el campo de la información y la ficción audiovisual, particularmente en el análisis de contenidos informativos de radio y televisión, sobre los que ha publicado numerosos libros y artículos científicos. Es miembro del grupo de investigación Novos Medios, coordinador del Programa de Doctorado en Comunicación e Información Contemporánea y director del Departamento de Ciencias de la Comunicación de la USC.

Dr. Amanda Paz-Alencar

Profesor asociado del Departamento de Medios y Comunicación de la Universidad Erasmus de Rotterdam y presidente de la División de Comunicación Intercultural (ICA). Es especialista en el campo de los medios digitales en Europa y América Latina, con un enfoque en el estudio de cómo los medios dan forma a los procesos de migración forzada. Anteriormente fue investigadora del Centro de Estudios sobre Refugiados (Universidad de Oxford) y becaria postdoctoral en la Universidad de Amsterdam en el marco del programa Marie Sk?odowska-Curie de la Unión Europea. Lidera varios proyectos relacionados con 'place-making', tecnologías digitales, translocalismo y refugiados, y es codirectora investigadora del plan de trabajo 2022 de ACNUR sobre ocio digital y poblaciones desplazadas en Brasil.

Profesor asociado del Departamento de Ciencias de la Comunicación de la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela (USC). Su investigación gira en torno a estudios de audiencia, con foco en medios y consumo de noticias, estrategias de medios y políticas públicas, perfiles profesionales relacionados con la medición, fidelización y diálogo con el público, nuevos formatos y comunidades de usuarios. Además, también ha realizado una extensa investigación sobre Información audiovisual, relacionada con lo publicado en revistas y editoriales de prestigio. Rodríguez-Vázquez ha participado en estancias internacionales en las Universidades del Miño (Braga, Portugal); Sapienza (Roma) y Florencia. Es miembro del grupo de investigación de Estudios Audiovisuales (GEA) y colaboradora del grupo Novos Medios.
