Resumo

Neste texto são abordados essencialmente dois temas: em primeiro lugar, as mudanças emergentes em como as audiências lidam com novos e velhos meios de comunicação e, em segundo lugar, os múltiplos processos de recepção e interlocução que hoje experimentam. Argumenta-se que as audiências, sem nunca perder esse papel, estão também assumindo outros mais ativos e interagindo cada vez mais como novos produtores e emissores de conteúdos midiáticos, similares aos que intercambiam através de diversas linguagens, formatos e dispositivos tecnológicos. Destaca-se a necessidade de diferenciar o consumo ampliado e a grande conectividade existente, de uma autêntica interlocução horizontal, criativa e propositiva dos interlocutores. Por outro lado, apresenta-se uma proposta educomunicativa conforme com esta realidade polimorfa e mutável das audiências, que resgata a tradição pedagógico-crítica ibero-americana que se desenvolve na Universidade de Valladolid (UVa), Campus de Segóvia. A disciplina «Comunicação, educação e sociedade no contexto digital» faz parte do programa dos estudos de Comunicação desta Universidade com o objetivo de desenvolver e fortalecer as capacidades, destrezas e reflexões apropriadas para uma interlocução mais integral no mundo da educomunicação. O principal objetivo da educação em competência comunicativa, educação em mídia e alfabetização digital é a educação nas técnicas e estratégias para a análise e produção de conteúdos em mídia. Neste artigo destaca-se a grande complexidade comunicativa e cultural que acarretam os esforços educativos nesta direção.
