Resumo

A ethosfera digital, como ambiente cultural de interações digitais, proporciona espaços de participação social e cidadã onde valores e contravalores que determinam a construção da identidade pessoal de seus usuários são promovidos. A falta de estudos para analisar os contravalores imersos em interações e espaços digitais levou ao desenvolvimento desta pesquisa, que procura analisar a extensão da percepção dos estudantes sobre a presença de contravalores na internet, examinando em que esfera social (com colegas, amigos ou familiares), de que tipo e como são transmitidos, a que riscos podem estar associados (informação ou comunicação) e em que recursos ou aplicativos. Um estudo de abordagem metodológica mista foi projetado por meio de um questionário ad hoc que foi respondido por 305 estudantes das faculdades de educação e formação de professores. Os resultados indicam que a maioria dos estudantes identifica a presença de contravalores ao utilizar a internet, destacando a manipulação e a violência, seguidas de desrespeito, desigualdade e desonestidade, assim como os riscos associados à informação e comunicação, evidenciando a presença implícita de contravalores nos discursos das redes sociais. Por fim, conclui-se destacando a necessidade de incluir a educação de valores na educação crítica para a mídia, reforçando a formação de futuros educadores que possam ensinar como desconstruir e erradicar os contravalores da esfera digital.
